## How does the quote process work?

## What is remedial re-sealing?

Remedial re-sealing usually means removing failed or contaminated sealant, preparing the joint properly, and re-sealing with a product suited to the joint, substrate, movement, and exposure.

## Can new silicone go over old silicone?

Usually no. New silicone does not reliably bond to loose, mouldy, contaminated, or already failed silicone. A proper re-seal often needs the old bead removed first.

## What affects quote cost?
